ICHA Tea Case Study
Overview
Exploring new coffee shops has always been a favourite pastime, and among them, ICHA Tea stands out as my top choice. Recognizing an opportunity to enhance the customer experience, I developed a mobile app specifically for ICHA Tea.

Objective
The goal of this project was to develop an intuitive, user-friendly app that lets ICHA Tea patrons browse, order, and customize their favorite drinks. It also includes a home delivery option, bringing the ICHA Tea experience beyond the café.
User Research
Before developing the ICHA Tea Mobile App, I conducted extensive user research to better understand the target audience. Using a mixed-methods approach—combining customer reviews and personal interviews—I gathered key insights.
Many users wanted a fast, hassle-free ordering experience with features like saved preferences and order history. This finding led me to prioritize usability and streamline the ordering process.

User Persona
After conducting interviews on a few individuals who frequent ICHA Tea, I've developed a user persona.
Impact on Design Decisions
Persona findings guided three key decisions: streamline mobile ordering and payment, support tea browsing and customization for personalized discovery, and design an accessible interface that’s easy for everyone to use.

User Flow
Before diving into creating the wireframes, I created a user flow based on the main tasks a user will take when using the app.

Low-fidelity wireframes map out the app’s basic structure, including the menu, order customization, and info sections.

Style Guide
The colour palette has been meticulously selected to embody the spirit of ICHA Tea, reflecting sophistication, tranquility, and a deep connection to the traditional roots of tea culture.
